Sheffield, England’s WHILE SHE SLEEPS and BlankTV are pleased to unveil the brand new music video for the band’s new single, ‘Be(lie)ve’. The video is available for viewing now at BlankTV’s official YouTube page. The single is being released digitally worldwide by GOOD FIGHT MUSIC and is available now at iTunes and other digital stores. ‘Be(lie)ve’ was self-recorded and mixed by guitarist Mat Welsh in January 2011 in order to keep in tune with the band’s DIY ethics and style.

‘Be(lie)ve’ is a track that sets to bridge the gap between the band’s last album, The North Stands for Nothing, and a new, currently untitled album that the band is presently writing. As for the meaning behind the track, ‘Be(lie)ve’ sheds light on everything wrong that we see around us day after day in society, and how we rebel against it. The track reflects the passion and drive that is WHILE SHE SLEEPS.

WHILE SHE SLEEPS released their digital-only album, The North Stands for Nothing on GOOD FIGHT MUSIC in November. For more information on WHILE SHE SLEEPS, please visit these sites:

Cover of Ace of Base’s ‘All That She Wants’ to Hit Radio Airwaves and iTunes on March 29th, 2011; Over 60,000 Views on YouTube and Counting!

Tampa, FL natives NOT TONIGHT JOSEPHINE are pleased to reveal the title for their April 26th release. The record will be titled All on the Horizon, and is the band’s follow up to their 2009 EP, This Orphan Heart. The band teamed up with producer Brett Hestla (Creed, Dark New Day, Framing Hanley) in the studio for All on the Horizon. Brett Hestla is also credited for producing This Orphan Heart.

The new record, which builds upon the This Orphan Heart’s pop-informed modern rock with more mature songwriting and a slightly darker bend, was recorded over the summer of 2010. The band currently has the single ‘Carousel’ available for streaming at http://www.myspace.com/nottonightrock, and the music video is available for viewing here. Their upcoming single, a cover of Ace of Base’s popular tune ‘All That She Wants’, is set to hit radio airwaves and iTunes in late March. The cover has seen amazing reception from fans, especially on YouTube where the track has seen a remarkable 60,000 hits since January 29th, 2011.

To celebrate the release of the album, NOT TONIGHT JOSEPHINE is scheduled to head out on a tour of the Eastern U.S. in late spring. The ‘All on the Horizon Tour’ will begin in late April and will travel the states through the end of May. The band is also planning on making appearances at the St. Patrick’s Day Block Party at Durty Nelly’s in St. Petersburg, FL on March 17th, and at University of South Florida’s Student Union for their tour kickoff on April 24th.

Since the release of their debut, This Orphan Heart EP and being named “Tampa, FL’s Most Buzz-worthy Rock Band” by Creative Loafing in Fall 2009, NOT TONIGHT JOSEPHINE have quickly been raising their status in rock’s up-and-coming scene. 2010 saw the band selected for a main stage performance at the Florida Music Festival in April, shooting a series of webisodes for Busch Gardens’ Howl-O-Scream festival in September, and nailing down a much-coveted slot on WSUN 97X’s annual Next Big Thing concert in Tampa, FL in December. The band has also performed at the November 2009 Ford 300 NASCAR Championship Race, the Miami Music Festival, the Driven Music Conference, XFC 9, MudFest, WSUN 97x’s BackYard BBQ, and WJRR Native Noise at House of Blues Orlando, FL. NOT TONIGHT JOSEPHINE has performed with acts such as Anberlin, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Sick Puppies, Drowning Pool and more. With their new single ‘Carousel’ and its video now leaving fans bloodthirsty for more music, NOT TONIGHT JOSEPHINE will certainly be climbing the ladder ever higher in 2011.

NOT TONIGHT JOSEPHINE is:

David Easlick – Vocals
Jake Moore – Guitar
Adam Aungst – Guitar
Evan Foley – Bass, Vocals
Randy Ayers – Drums

“Our annual MusiCares MAP Fund benefit focuses attention on the disease of addiction and the challenges and rewards of the path to recovery,” said Neil Portnow, President/CEO of The Recording Academy® and MusiCares. “While substance abuse issues are prevalent in every sector of society, the music industry is a particularly visible microcosm of these struggles, and it is critical that we take this opportunity to generate resources that will provide help to members of the music community in need. Both Dave and Kevin have been steadfast supporters of the MusiCares MAP Fund and champions of recovery, so it is very meaningful that we will be honoring them this year.”

“The MusiCares MAP Fund is an unbelievably important and courageous organization,” said Gahan. “They continue to make a momentous commitment to the music community, and I am proud to support their ongoing work in raising awareness and funds.”

“My work in the music industry continues to be extremely rewarding,” said Lyman. “But I’ve also seen the devastation that addiction brings to artists, crew members, and others who work in this business, and that is why I wholeheartedly support the work of MusiCares. For the past two years, they’ve sent staff members on the road with the Vans Warped Tour to bring information and resources directly to music people, and I know they provide similar resources to artists, festivals, and awards shows around the country.”

This special dinner and concert offers Living Room Sets that seat 10 for $12,500, Individual Floor Seats for $1,250 per person, and General Admission Floor – Standing Room Only (limited availability) for $500; contact Wynnie Wynn for ticket information at 310.392.3777 or wynniew@grammy.com. VIP Balcony Seats for $250 per person and General Admission Balcony Seats for $125 per person are available only through Ticketmaster beginning on March 11 at www.ticketmaster.com. Out of respect for the clients the MusiCares MAP Fund serves, the event will be alcohol-free.

One of music’s most iconic frontmen, Dave Gahan has become a hero to millions as the voice of Depeche Mode. His commanding vocals helped establish the legendary group’s signature sound, which has left an indelible legacy on indie and popular music. Today, Depeche Mode remains among a select premier league of recording artists who have sold more than 100 million albums worldwide, making them one of the most successful bands in history. With Gahan as their frontman, all of the band’s 12 studio releases have reached the Top 10, not only in the UK and United States, but in more than 20 countries around the globe. Gahan, who is renowned for his electric stage presence and high-energy performances, has consistently propelled Depeche Mode’s larger than life live shows to new heights. This was truly evident on the band’s recent world tour, which spanned 102 shows across 40 countries to more than 2.7 million people, including arenas and stadiums.

Although Gahan has fronted Depeche Mode for more than 30 years, 2003 marked his debut as a fully-fledged songwriter for the band. He has also gone on to become an accomplished solo artist in his own right, having releasing two critically acclaimed albums, including 2003′s Paper Monsters and 2007′s Hourglass.

Kevin Lyman began his career booking bands for his university and as a roadie for then unknown acts such as Bad Religion, the Bangles and the Untouchables. Later he was a promoter representative for seminal punk rock and metal bands, working in many of the legendary L.A. clubs. Lyman is best known as the creator of the Vans Warped Tour, the longest-running music and extreme sports festival in the world today. In addition, he also is co-producer of the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival, Rockstar Energy Drink Taste of Chaos tour and Willie Nelson’s Country Throwdown.

In 2005, Lyman established the Unite The United Foundation, an organization set up to encourage fans, artists and industry leaders from the music, touring and lifestyle worlds to come together through charitable contributions, events and volunteer efforts in order to work toward positive change in our national community. Since its inception, Unite The United has raised more than $1 million for a variety of causes such as EarthEco International, Hollywood Heart, KeepABreast Foundation, MusiCares, Music Saves Lives, and Skate 4 Cancer to name a few. In recognition of his philanthropic and eco-friendly efforts, Lyman was honored with the Humanitarian Award at the Billboard Touring Awards in 2009.

MusiCares recently announced the launch of an innovative fundraising campaign aimed at the public to create the world’s largest photo mosaic comprised of one million photo tiles. “Be A Part Of The Heart” encourages fans, recording artists, and corporate and media partners to come together to raise awareness and generate resources to help MusiCares continue to provide a safety net of critical assistance for music people in times of need. Participants can visit www.beapartoftheheart.com and make a contribution of $1 to receive an online tile, where they can upload a photo and include their stories and links to websites and social media platforms. There is no limit to the donation amount and the tiles that go with it. Tiles can be created in honor of loved ones, to commemorate important milestones or holidays, and to engage other members of the public. There also is a place to include text about key musical influences. In addition, the initiative offers a chance to win two tickets to the 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards. The “Be A Part Of The Heart” program will continue throughout 2011 with a special unveiling event and concert to be announced in December.

MusiCares offers programs and services to members of the music community including emergency financial assistance for basic living expenses including rent, utilities and car payments; medical expenses including doctor, dentist and hospital bills; psychotherapy; and treatment for HIV/AIDS, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, hepatitis C, and other critical illnesses. MusiCares offers nationwide educational workshops covering a variety of subjects, including financial, legal, medical, and substance abuse issues, and programs in collaboration with healthcare professionals that provide services such as flu shots, hearing tests and medical/dental screenings.

The MusiCares MAP Fund allows access to addiction recovery treatment and sober living resources for members of the music community regardless of their financial circumstances. Staffed by qualified chemical dependency and intervention specialists, MusiCares Safe Harbor Rooms offer a support network to those in recovery while they are participating in the production of televised music shows and other major music events. MusiCares holds weekly addiction support groups for people to discuss how to best cope with the issues surrounding the recovery process. The MusiCares Sober Touring Network is a database of individuals across the United States who can take music people to recovery support meetings while on the road.

Established in 1989 by The Recording Academy, MusiCares provides a safety net of critical assistance for music people in times of need. MusiCares’ services and resources cover a wide range of financial, medical and personal emergencies, and each case is treated with integrity and confidentiality. MusiCares also focuses the resources and attention of the music industry on human service issues that directly impact the health and welfare of the music community.

New Album Evil is Crowned Out Now!

Long Island, NY’s MISERY is seeing excellent reviews of their recent full-length release, Evil is Crowned. New Jersey’s Aquarian Weekly states, “[Misery’s] newest disc, Evil Is Crowned, contains fiery vocals and lyrics from John LoCasto, in addition to strong guitar playing from Corey Schaefer and Duane Conlon.” The magazine describes select songs as having “emotional lyrics and a catchy chorus” and compares John LoCasto’s vocals to that of Anthony Martini of New Jersey’s very own E-Town Concrete. Allmusic.com has also released an impressive review and states, “This is a dense, abrasive, clobbering effort that thrives on crushing brutality, but in their own angry, corrosive way, the Long Islanders can be enjoyably infectious.” Allmusic.com also compares MISERY’s sound to that of metal greats such as Pantera, Sepultura, and Pro-Pain.

MISERY released Evil is Crowned on February 15th, 2011. The album was recorded at Systems 2 Recording Studio in Brooklyn, NY and was mastered at Manhattan’s world-famous Sterling Sound. Production credits on Evil is Crowned go to Joey Z of Life of Agony. The album was released via Super Metal Records.

MISERY is pleased to announce a group of upcoming New York performances this spring. The band is also planning on announcing a few upcoming New Jersey performances as well. Those shows will be announced as they are confirmed. See below for all upcoming dates:

MISERY TOUR DATES:

Manhattan, NY – April 23rd @ Fontana’s

New Hyde Park, NY – May 6th @ Dublin Pub

Brooklyn, NY – May 7th @ The Trash Bar

Brooklyn, NY – June 3rd @ Production Lounge

Formed in the early 90’s, MISERY are known for their powerfully aggressive sound, often being compared to the likes of Pantera and Metallica with an eerie Black Sabbath undertone. MISERY are also recognized for their rigorous touring schedule, including support for large acts such as Napalm Death, Buckcherry and Testament. After hearing MISERY’s 2008 full length release, Fifteen Years of Aggression, producer Joey Z took such a liking to the band that he asked MISERY to support Life of Agony on their Winter 2009 tour. Playing with such an eclectic mix of bands has helped to expose MISERY to a world of new fans! In 2009, MISERY reached the #12 position on the FMQB Metal Radio charts, and currently can be heard on cable music outlets such as Music Choice and DMX. MISERY completed a tour in the fall with DevilDriver, Kittie and Kataklysm.

GRAFFITI6 EXPLODES ONTO THE AMERICAN MUSIC SCENE IN 2011

MTV Push Artist Of the Week!

NEW YORK, NY– (March 11, 2011) — Graffiti6 have stirred up the music scene both in the United States and the UK with their vintage soul influences, love for guitar-God Hendrix and funk and pop-infused tunes in 2010. Graffiti6 is comprised of two successful independent musicians Jaime Scott (Jamie Scott & The Town) and Writer/Producer/DJ TommyD (Kanye West, Jay-Z, Kylie Minogue). The combination of the two musical minds has shown to be a great success and promises to lead to an explosive 2011 for the London-based duo, with tons of support from MTV & VH1 Networks across the board!

Most recently, Graffiti6 was named MTV PUSH ARTIST OF THE WEEK (http://push.mtv.com/) on March 7th and the week prior (February 28th) they claimed the winning spot on mtvU’s “Freshmen 5: Must-Hear Bands For Spring” (http://www.mtvu.com/the-freshmen/). They’ve recently appeared on mtvU’s Backstage Pass, mtvU Dean’s List, hosting MTV2’s Subterranean and Logo’s NewNowNext and appearing on MTV’s Ten On Top March 5. In December 2010, Graffiti6 was named to MTV’s ‘2011 ARTIST TO WATCH’ list! This new artist campaign gave the video featured placement and rotation on MTV, AMTV, MTV2, mtvU, and MTV Hits.

Most recently, three tracks were licensed on Vh1’s hit reality shows Basketball Wives and Football Wives with substantial single increases after the airings. Their tracks have been adopted by many popular television series, with “Stare Into the Sun” recently featured in a spot on this season’s premiere episode of Grey’s Anatomy, “Calm the Storm” on CSI NY, and “Stare Into the Sun” again featured in Victoria’s Secret CBS annual fashion special. Abroad, “Annie You Save Me” was featured on Covert Affairs.

The critics are saying…

“Singer Jamie Scott and DJ Tommy D create a fresh sound on debut album Colours.”

-MTV.com

“The album’s great sound is mainly due to Scott’s voice, which is soft at times, and raspy at others. His tone will remind you of other “blue-eyed soul” performers: He echoes Australian singer Daniel Merriweather throughout the disc, and on “Over You,” you’ll hear similarities to R&B crooner Robin Thicke.”

- Associated Press

“Like witnessing a perfect sunset on the last day of a long rainy vacation, they make sounds that feel like perfect little moments.”

-New York Post POPWRAP

**Named TOP 10 ARTISTS TO WATCH IN 2011 by the New York Post’s POPWRAP (December 2010)**

“Scott and Tommy D have tapped into something indelible, important and undeniably impressive.”

- Absolute Punk

The year 2010 was an extremely successful one for the U.K duo who has featured by various American outlets on ABC News, Associated Press, Better TV, CBS News, Last.FM/discover, Sirius/XM (where they are getting spins at Alt Nation), 101.9FM RXP, and many more. Graffiti6 is primed to continue to ride the wave of success that they have created for themselves right through 2011.

Hartford, CT – MAKE DO AND MEND are excited to announce their first extensive tour in support of the band’s critically lauded debut, End Measured Mile (October, Panic/Paper + Plastick), which begins tonight in New Haven, CT. Following a brief US run that wraps with the band’s debut at SXSW, Make Do And Mend head overseas to the UK with Fireworks on March 20th, and return to the US for a month’s worth of tour dates with The Wonder Years, Fireworks, Such Gold, and Living With Lions, kicking off on April 8th. Make Do And Mend will also be performing at highly touted punk festivals Krazyfest and Rainfest (at the Panic Records Showcase), as well as select dates with Hot Water Music in May. See all tour dates below.

“These upcoming tours will be the first real shows we are going to be able to stretch our legs out on songs from our full length,” says Make Do And Mend drummer Matt Carroll. “We are all really, really excited to start playing a lot of new songs. We feel like these tours are going to be our coming out party for End Measured Mile, and are stoked to see how kids react to the songs live. SXSW will be a great jump-off point for our endlessly busy schedule continuing on, so we are looking forward causing ruckus in Austin for a few days.” This run will not only include the band’s first time performing at SXSW, but it will also be Make Do And Mend’s first appearance overseas in the UK. Carroll adds “To be able to go down to SXSW, and fly from there to go overseas for two weeks is a pretty surreal feeling.”

Named one of Alternative Press’ 100 Bands You Need To Know in 2011, Make Do And Mend earned respect and praise from fans and critics through extensive touring and solid EP releases over the past three years, culminating with End Measured Mile topping many critics Best Of 2010 lists. “We can’t thank everyone who has had positive things to say about the record enough,” says Carroll. “To have people compliment something we worked insanely hard on is a really great feeling, and we cannot wait to hit the road and play these songs live and continue to share the songs with new people.”

Make Do And Mend is James Carroll (vocals/guitar), Mike Poulin (bass), Matt Carroll (drums), and Mike O’Toole (guitar).

“[End Measured Mile] is a collection of volatile songs stuffed full of serrated power chords, battering ram drums and leathery bellowing from singer James Carroll… The mood on End Measured Mile rarely feels less than life-or-death intense… At just shy of 34 minutes, End Measured Mile is a relatively brief album, but it’s long and forceful enough to leave you feeling wrung out by the end.” – Hartford Courant

Poised for a breakout year filled with steadfast touring, HE IS WE has announced their third run of tour dates in 2011, supporting The Downtown Fiction this April. Pre-sale tickets are available here: tinyurl.com/heiswe-tix. Currently out on the Love Is All Around Us Tour with Scene Aesthetic, Carter Hulsey, and Plug In Stereo, He Is We are supporting their critically lauded Universal Motown debut, My Forever, which is available digitally and physically on tour at the merch table. Joining the groundswell of support from music critics and fans alike, iTunes recently selected the Tacoma, WA duo’s single “Happily Ever After” to be the featured FREE “Discovery Download,” which racked in an impressive 186,000+ downloads. The infectious single recently spawned a video, which fans can view on the band’s Vevo page: http://v.vevo.com/nCw.

Since its digital release in November, My Forever has been racking in accolades from the press and fans. “Discovery Download” is another milestone in the band’s already impressive list of accomplishments, which includes My Forever debuting on Billboard’s Heatseekers Album Chart at #6 and zipping up the iTunes’ Pop Album Chart to #3 almost immediately. As the video for “Happily Ever After” racks in plays on Vevo, it also climbs the Hot AC radio charts, with over 25 stations spinning the song, including SiriusXM’s The Pulse, KSCF (San Diego), KUCD (Honolulu), WMMM (Madison), KALC (Denver), KMXB (Las Vegas), KKPL (Ft. Collins), and KCIX (Boise), to name a few. The band’s catchy brand of alt-pop is irresistible, and left Alternative Press to comment My Forever is “big enough for live sing-alongs and sweet enough for to soundtrack next year’s prom,” while AbsolutePunk affirmed “For just a debut record, My Forever has set He Is We up for greatness.”

My Forever was produced by Casey Bates (Chiodos, Portugal. The Man, Foxy Shazaam) and Aaron Sprinkle (The Almost, Eisley, Pedro The Lion, Mae), with additional recording done in New York City with Dan Romer (Ingrid Michaelson). He Is We have recorded acoustic versions of My Forever and the acoustic videos for “Blame It On the Rain” and “Happily Ever After” are also available for viewing at the band’s Vevo page: http://www.vevo.com/artist/he-is-we.

In it’s first week, INDESTRUCTIBLE NOISE COMMAND’s new EP Bleed the Line debuted at #4 Most Added on the CMJ Loud Rock charts. The EP entered the charts at #12 and is currently on the cusp of the top 10 at #11. The EP is currently spinning at many college and commercial radio stations nationwide. Bleed the Line EP is available now in digital format. Fans can download the record at iTunes and Amazon.com now.

Through humble beginnings in Connecticut, INDESTRUCTIBLE NOISE COMMAND exceeded their own expectations and the expectations of others with two successful full-length Giant Records releases, Razorback (1987) and The Visitor (1988). Giant Records signed I.N.C. after witnessing the band’s crushing live performances with the likes of Exodus, Megadeth and King Diamond; all of which taking place only six months after they had graduated high school. In 1988 with The Visitor, the band hit #1 on the CMJ Metal charts and stole the U.K. #2 Import slot out from underneath Aerosmith. Now based in New York City, the band is back with their Bleed the Line EP and Heaven Sent, Hellbound. I.N.C. is an original pioneer of the thrash metal scene, resurrected in order to take back a genre recently flooded with neo-thrash carbon copies. Revived and back with a vengeance, I.N.C. is ready to prove ownership of the scene in 2011.

Who Can Know It?

Showbread harbors some strange tendencies when it comes to music and art. Hardcore punk, pop, alternative and industrial are only a few of the genres that make up the bizarre amalgamation that is Showbread’s self described “Raw Rock” sound. Stranger still is the way one genre devours another on each new Showbread record, jarring and dividing their fan base every time. On the band’s sixth album Who Can Know It?—which was released as a free download through Comeandlive.com on November 16th, 2010—Showbread showcases their most grandiose stylistic shift like a badge, and rightfully so, it’s the best the band has ever sounded.

Last year, Showbread announced not only their departure from longtime home Tooth And Nail records (one of the largest independent record labels in the world) but also their intentions to partner with non-profit organization Come&Live! and offer their subsequent album and its supporting tour both as gifts; completely free of charge. Who would fund the album? The fans… and quickly; within one week of Showbread’s 90 day fundraiser the band had raised the entire album budget by offering special pre-order gifts to donors. Before the 90 days ended they had raised several times as much. With absolutely no mainstream popularity and no record label Showbread raised more money than most independent record labels can offer a band of their size to record an album. Times have certainly changed. Singer Josh Dies acknowledges the crumbling state of the music industry but insists the Showbread’s new model wasn’t in the same spirit as, say, Radiohead or Trent Reznor.

“Even considering the sorry state the industry is in, the move wasn’t about reinventing the wheel, it was about believing in a message of hope so sincerely that you’d much rather hand it out as a gift than charge someone for it.”

The message in question comes to full flower both sonically and lyrically on Who Can Know It?: the band’s most sincere and developed sounding effort to date. Teaming once again with long-time production collaborators Sylvia Massy (Prince, Tool, Johnny Cash) and Rich Veltrop (Phantom Planet, Slayer) familiar listeners have come to expect the unexpected, but will they expect a record this unexpected?

Those expecting traces of Showbread’s blistering Refused and Nine Inch Nails influences might be more than a little surprised to find the latest change finds the band sounding like a Raw Rock version of The Eagles and R.E.M. If those same listeners can recover from the initial shock they’ll go on to find the most expanded, earnest, heartbreaking and original music of Showbread’s career; piano driven ballads, haunting vocal melodies, simultaneously dark and uplifting lyrics, dense layers of instrumentation and a notable lack of power chords or screaming vocals. It seems that Raw Rock has developed to a completely unexpected full maturity; Raw Rock is all grown up.

Who Can Know It? was released as a free download on Comeandlive.com and to traditional online media outlets on November 16th, 2010. Showbread has begun their first completely free tour in early 2011.

The shows on this tour are created as a modern day rock opera. There are no support bands to begin the show. These concerts begin with video and take you on a journey similar to Rush. Bring your friends to the most interesting musical spectacle ever produced by Showbread. Do not be late!

LAMB OF GOD’s CHRIS ADLER and MAPEX Drums were thrilled to see a whopping 730 fans arrive at the “A Throne with a View” tour’s impressive Salt Lake City, UT kick-off show at BackBeats Drum Shop on Monday the 28th. A typical drum clinic will draw about 50-70 attendees. This impressive turnout is only a taste of what is yet to come on the “A Throne with a View” tour, and ADLER hopes to see many more fans out at his upcoming appearances. The tour will take ADLER through the country until March 16th when the tour lands in Hollywood, FL at Resurrection Drums. The tour is sponsored by MAPEX DRUMS, AQUARIAN, PRO MARK, GIBRALTAR, MEINL, and ZOOM (SAMSON).

“Never would I have expected such a massive and warm response,” states ADLER. “I had a blast jamming tunes and talking shop and SLC really brought it. Honestly, I was shocked and a bit of a nervous wreck without my bandmates, but in the end I loved every minute of it. I’m lucky to have the opportunity and I hope to share that, and if all goes well, inspire everyone that stops by.”

“The performance CHRIS ADLER brings to his drum clinic is at the same level as his performance with the band live and in the studio,” states Joe Hibbs of MAPEX Drums. “Because he is truly a musical and drumming artist, fans know it is important to see him in these truly special clinic appearances.”

“The “A Throne with a View” tour with CHRIS ADLER was a huge success,” adds Sean Chase of BackBeats Drum Shop in Salt Lake City, UT. “A sell-out crowd of over 700 attendees witnessed an inspiring performance and insight from one the world’s greatest drummers. Chris’ humility, honesty, and passion for our craft gives us all something to aspire to.”

“GIBRALTAR is proud to support CHRIS ADLER,” affirms GIBRALTAR Hardware Artist Relations manager Kim Graham. “He has been an artist of ours for eight years and is an amazing person and drummer to have on our team. It’s no surprise that this clinic tour is such a success!”

On this tour, ADLER is playing on MAPEX’s newly released Black Panther “Blaster” drum set. MAPEX introduced the Black Panther Drum Collection in January at the NAMM show in Anaheim, CA and this will be the first opportunity for many fans to see and hear it. The Blaster kit features a unique maple and walnut shell design and is the first in a series of new drum sets based on MAPEX’s popular series of Black Panther Snare Drums.

ADLER appeared at the prestigious Modern Drummer Festival in 2005 and performed a “Battle” clinic tour with his brother Willie Adler across Europe in 2008. “A Throne with a View” is his first and only U.S. clinic tour in 2011. See below for all current clinic tour dates, and watch an example of one of ADLER’s aforementioned drum clinics here.

CHRIS ADLER recently announced the release of a comprehensive behind the scenes narrative book, detailing the early days of the band through the writing and recording of the LAMB OF GOD album, New American Gospel. This is the first and only book chronicling the history of the making of this classic album. Known for not pulling any punches, ADLER tells the real story, warts and all. The book includes drum tablature transcribed and verified by master technician Travis Orbin (travisorbin.com) and ADLER himself, and are designed to provide accurate insight into the drumming on the album as well as a convenient learning and teaching tool to teachers and drummers alike. The book is a must-have for any fans of LAMB OF GOD or ADLER’s drumming, as well as fans looking for ‘fly-on-the-wall’ access to how and why critical choices and decisions were made in the process of creating New American Gospel. Throughout the narrative, ADLER speaks frankly of his drumming, the successes, the failures, and obstacles that ultimately led to him contemplating leaving the band years ago.
