No BCS semi-final, This is the BCS game to watch

There is one game to watch at 4pm EST. 2Florida versus 1Alabama, this is their seventh meeting out of 18 years of the SEC Championship game. They will meet during regular schedules in ‘10 and ‘11, so we may see a little change in the most anticipated championship game. Even though the crystal trophy will not be ready for presentation this evening, you can guarantee that the winner may as well clear a spot for that shiny football, in their halls. You can also clear a space for Mr. Heisman, on the mantle of the winner. Colt McCoy simply losses his shot at many people caring, because you also have 2Tebow versus 1Ingram. As a fan, both of Alabama and college football in general, I really do want to see that Nebraska upset. I just think that even though the horned frogs aren’t a winning match-up against an Alabama of Florida machine, it would bolster a little more respect into their program. When you always have a team like Texas, playing big flop Bob, Tech, or Colorado for some sort of vindication, it is just ridiculous to care if they play for the National title. We can always go back to the way things made sense, and push this game away for a month, and watch it for the crystal football then. Either way, congratulations SEC on another BCS Championship!

Friday April 3, is a year of marriage.

A lot of things have happened this last year. April 5, 2008, Hopeless Academy rescinds the working agreement that we had. Ashley and I looked into moving to Naples. We ended up only moving southwest by 6 miles. I went back to school.

I have tried many locations to restart the local music scene. I have found some success. I really liked working last Friday. I think that has a lot of potential. After a great weekend on the West Coast, it is very apparent that this is where we are headed.

The game plan is that we are headed over at the beginning of July. I may be over there a lot sooner than that. There is a very prospective appointment on Friday.

Vote out Michelle Spence-Jones

Michelle Spence-Jones states “I will not vote for the stadium, unless the $500 million is allocated for revitalizing Overtown”. What the HECK is wrong with this lady! Is she THAT ignorant? We wanted $350 million to build a long standing, income generating business to our community. This money for the new baseball stadium would come from tourism tax. I would LOVE to know where the half-billion dollars are coming from to do who knows what with in Overtown! I just hope her kid does not come out as stupid as she is. This is why it is important that everyone goes out and uses their freedom to vote, so that we do not end up with idiots like this in government. Next, we should spend a half-billion dollars and improve the malls…She was probably the same lady that pushed to have the crosswalks beep really loudly so that blind people could figure out where they were walking. I sure am glad about this; I have been quit worried about all of the blind people that walk out in front of me in the last 27 years.

Sunday Wrap-up 3-1-09

It’s all about being a servant! You cannot love others if you do not love yourself. So if you are going to be mean to someone, make sure you turn your Christianity inside-out, because God does not need bad publicity, jk. Put God first. Make a list of what is ahead of God, and fix it! Protect your attitude, not your selfishness. Do not be narcissistic. Just because your dress-up your junk, does not mean that we do not smell your funk. Check out DC Talk’s In the Light. It is funny, because I noticed that someone found me using a DC Talk link yesterday, and I wasn’t sure where the correlation was.

Some great people in the Keys

I don’t mind kicking in doors, I always know how that is going to go. It is always nice when God sets stuff up and it just goes together. It makes me sweat like crazy though, because it always surpasses my expectations.

I wanted to hang posters where the kids hang out at. Not really knowing where that is, I asked. I went over to Tavernier Towne Cinemas, and Amen, the manager says, “Whatever benefits the community, I am always here to support it.” Then I went over to Blockbuster, and Carl told me that he was happy to put them up for me. I really appreciate nice folks in the Keys!

Sunday Wrap-up for 2-22-09

I really can summarize today by saying that you should persevere by going the distance (look up Cake’s song under the Fashion Nugget play list). Remember if God presents  the opportunity, throw me in the fire, and I’ll walk right through (look up D-I-E-4-Y-O-U, under the Dance or Die play list).
